With the belief that “no student is too anything to learn to read and write” (Yoder 2000,) I'll be teaming up with ATtraining to deliver an online learning opportunity for professionals, in education settings, on creating engaging and accessible literacy opportunities for learners with complex needs.
We will share practical, and evidence based interventions defined by a comprehensive literacy approach with the goal of supporting attendees to better meet the literacy and communication needs of their students with significant disabilities including those who are non-verbal or use AAC.
